Glad you found hope PR.
Whereas my estimate of the orbital speed seems close, I suppose its the rotational direction of the earth that effects the reliable and unbiased Sundial, and this rotational velocity that would effect difficulty in reversing the shadow of the gnomen leaning faithfully at its center.
But take heart... the message is the same: without a root in a second heaven these physical heavens can not be reversed; sticks can not be made snakes, nor snakes sticks; these hearts can not be changed... folk, list them all shall we, for edification?
But the physical hath this Mighty also. This Jupiter, and a half a hundred moons; this Niagra; this precious... what? All created things are a supernal water flowing of a wonderous Source.
And so we have discarded cork, bobbing on the sea. A past purpose, lost perhaps. But how has it been written, upon this little mighty, the law of up? And who can rob those laws, from one who possesses nothing but itself, and yet is so mightily possessed? For the water, like a closed fist crushed against the earth by the same attraction, refuses to let the little cork in but a little. So the cork obediently serves out its time... the air above, dancing on the salty sea.
I think we are in error if we forget that this shepherd of physical law has been written for the safe keeping of all creation. I believe the thin veil of air around the earth will be consumed with a great shout, but not this hour.
When it suits the Master to release to us a breath from a window that we can't yet reach on our tip toes, its easier to keep in mind a greener pasture beyond. But you are better disposed, me thinks, if you find what He has written for you, in this hour, in this expanse...
And be raised, with Him when he commands.
"And now, little children,
abide in him; that,
when he shall appear,
we may have confidence,
and not be ashamed before him at his coming."
