I love this! This title took my eyes off His glorious work in catching-up His beloved church, and off my incessant nagging thoughts of human companionship, and let me see The Raptor of my heart!
Oh God, Beautiful, Incomparable, Awesome, and Majestic ... Your Rapturous Love is You!
It is as if my eyes gazed on the lovely gifts in His hand, my breath, my understanding, my salvation, my children's salvation, our hope of heaven. WONDERFUL THINGS! Yet, in a moment of enlightenment my heart swept all these SO precious gifts aside.
And beneath them, my fathers loving hands lay. Oh, God. My God. Hands extended, tending, wooing, caring. I want so to touch them.
Kelly, a tiny bulb went on in my tiny heart. None of His wonderous gifts compare--to HIS PERSON. to Him.
I am in desperate love of Him. Just as I am in desparate need of Him.
May I please share your prose with a few class-mates? Possibly even, a professor?
Oh Father, bless and cause to raturously abide in You my precious brother, and all my fellows in Christ threading on PS! Guide our little boats safely home, let no weight hinder our passage into Eternal Communion with Thee. Let Your warm Wind push us on, fill our tiny sails with visions of You. Even so. Amen.
