For a friend of Jesus

Posted by Sheshisown on February 14, 2008 at 03:30:39:

Please say a prayer, offer all your heart will allow you to the throne of God for this saint.

My best friend is very ill in the hospital, it is unexpected, and her first year of teaching after finishing her Masters degree. She is a really wonderful math teacher, and her students are challenging in multitudinous ways! They are sixth graders, from homes that are impoverished, as well as often violent and abusive. It is her first opportunity to serve in her calling and requires her to lean heavily upon the Lord, yet she is so ill, it is hard to say if she may return to this job. She is also single, so there is no person allowed by people's judgement to be allowed to remain at her side with appropriate leave from work, school, etc. Married folks have these benefits, but singles do not.

Oh, I do not understand, my heart cries out to trust thru this season of unfathomable affliction placed on such a dear person. Please pray with me for her. Especially, that she returns to health, and the insurance holds, and for her faith to remain strong and grow more fervent than ever! There is much more to ask, my heart asks it . . . with groanings unutterable. May the Lord's blessed Holy Spirit cry out in my stead, perfectly praying our Father's will for her.

For Jesus name . . . amen.
