Jesus King of angels heavens light, shine Your face upon this brother of mine. Remind him how You speak Your power to the raging sea, and Your mercy to all sinful men.
Let Your vast universe remind him how You are mindful when even a sparrow falls.
That Your care for him is as constant as the tide. That You are mindful of the anxious thoughts that find him, surround him, and that try to bind him.
We love You Sovereign Lord, let my brother come under the wings of Your beautiful care anew. Assure him that You will always provide for him, all his needs through Your riches in Christ Jesus! That he may love You even more, and rise again healed, and speak of the goodness of his God once again.
Hold my brothers heart and keep him though this season of night.
